Notice of Student Mobility Scholarship

 

Call for Applications

 

Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (Germany) offers mobility scholarships for students at master level, supported by the ERASMUS+ program. Positions for student motilities are available to participate in the IMLA programme during the summer and winter semester 2019.

The summer term starts 18 March and ends 31 July 2019.

The student should be available to arrive in the first week of March!

The dead line for application submission is January 10th 2017 until 15:00 pm.

The Erasmus+ programme grants a monthly payment of 800 Euros. In addition a one time payment of 275 Euro for travel expenses will be granted to the candidate.

Who can apply?

Eligible students are students from Faculty of Forestry University of Sarajevo attending the MSc program Landscape architecture. Faculty of Forestry encourages students of second year of MSc to apply.

The student can apply for a dormitory room (restrictions/conditions apply, ERASMUS+ office will inform the student accordingly). Students will be helped with the best of ability to find affordable housing.

The cost of housing will be approximately 300-350 Euro per month.

A full coverage health insurance is necessary to study in Germany. The student should contact us about this and we will provide further information. A travel insurance is not sufficient. The cost of the insurance will be approx. 95 Euros per month.

Students at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen pay a semester fee of approx. 130 Euro each semester as a contribution to the student union. This payment is due before arrival and has to be paid via bank transfer.

Information Technologies in Planning and Design (5 ECTS)

  • GIS I (2 ECTS)
  • GIS II (3 ECTS)

 

Planning and Design Methods (5 ECTS)

  • Landscape Concepts (2 ECTS)
  • Landscape Architecture Methods (3 ECTS)

 

 Main Project I (15 ECTS)

The project theme will be at a regional/local scale and located in Northern Italy

 

International Planning and Design (5 ECTS)

  • Planning systems (3 ECTS)
  • International approach to planning and design (2 ECTS)

 

Planning and Project Management (5 ECTS)

  • Strategic project management (3 ECTS)
  • Communication (2 ECTS)

 

Information Technologies in Planning and Design (5 ECTS)

  • Seminar IT (2 ECTS)
  • Visualisation (3 ECTS)

 

Planning and Design Methods (5 ECTS)

  • Participation (2 ECTS)
  • Monitoring and Assessment (3 ECTS)

 

 Main Project II (10 ECTS)

  • The project theme will be an urban open space regeneration project, we are in the process of specifying it

 

Students are expected to take all modules as they are integrated (aspects of the theory modules are applied in the main project). Anyone who speaks also German can of course take additional courses from the Bachelor programs in landscape architecture (construction and design), landscape planning and nature protection or urban planning.

Application procedure

  • motivation letter (in which it is stated for which study program application is submitted, main objectives for mobilit),
  • CV (one page),
  • score certificate,
  • language certificate
  • scanned passport
